Standing Against Discrimination

People with autism deserve dignity and respect in every part of life — from workplaces and schools to public spaces. At Justice for Autism, we stand firmly against discrimination and work to ensure that individuals on the spectrum are treated fairly under the law. Our advocacy team helps families recognize unlawful treatment, provides guidance on filing complaints, and connects them with resources to seek justice.

Protecting Education Rights

Every child has the right to a quality education. Unfortunately, many students with autism face barriers — from being denied proper classroom accommodations to experiencing exclusion from school activities. We support families by:

  • Guiding them through Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.

  • Advocating for inclusive learning environments.

  • Ensuring that schools meet their legal obligations to support students with autism.

Our goal is to empower families so that every child receives the education they deserve, free from prejudice and neglect.

Ensuring Healthcare Access

Healthcare should never be out of reach for individuals with autism. Yet, many families struggle to access therapies, specialists, and essential services. We help by:

  • Connecting families with healthcare providers who understand autism.

  • Educating them about insurance rights and coverage.

  • Advocating for equal treatment in hospitals, clinics, and emergency care settings.

By removing barriers to healthcare access, we help ensure that individuals with autism can live healthier, fuller lives.
